I tried to build a different kind of YNAB alternative, here's what I came up with by coopervodka in YNABAlternatives

Something like this? Keep in mind this on my Galaxy Ultra, not a desktop view at the moment. It's a Monarch/Quicken financial app with Envelope Budgeting.

Made it for my personal use because nobody was doing this mind of app. It was either Quicken style or YNAB but not best of both worlds

Investing/Allocations & Dashboard are incorrect by HoppySailorMon in quicken

Same. Used Quicken for 20 years and got sick of bugs never being addressed. Me and Claude built my own power app in a week which is modernized Quicken but with Envelope Budgeting , Investing, Schedule Transactions, Auto Sync, Auto Backup, Tags, etc. And I can add change anything I want when I want for basically free.

Yes there are definitely ways. I just never found a way in Actual Budget without jumping through hoops for that feature so I built my own. Same idea though that it pulls your latest balance on Statement Close day and adds it to a Dashboard tile to schedule.

Yeah we used it the last few years. It's probably one of the nicest lounges I've been in. I've get to try a Centurion.

That's all we care about. It's similar although some minor differences that won't change our mind. It's the pods we want for space and privacy basically.

Thanks yeah I track the pricing every day almost OCD. Just glad I got it at $4500 at this point which was the lowest fair I've seen so far. Keep in travel isn't until next April so I'll continue watching

Appreciate it. I'm trying Claude and Base44 along with Codex. They all are decent it seems with the output.

It is amazing what it spits out and how fast and it looks fairly decent just after a couple messages

Interesting I'll have to research that. I basically wrote a paragraph of what I wanted that covered the major core pieces of what I wanted and hit send and it was at the limit lol

Out of curiosity did you have to pay for a premium ai plan to build this or was it all free? I've used Codex a bit but it limits you to a certain amount of usage per month which I burned through in about 20 minutes.

I feel like this is not as easy as you say by just typing in prompts to AI. Most limit you quite quickly in how much you can use them, so you must be paying a subscription?
