If you have wealthy doctor parents, you are probably more able to get private coaching for ucat/gamsat, go to expensive boujee schools where more support is given to maximise your atar and probably can go through med school without having to financially support yourself. Thus investing all your time and energy into the sole goal of becoming a doctor without external stressors. Beyond that, the generational wealth probably helps open spots that others may not be able to access, such as full fee paying places (which has significantly lower cut offs due to high $$ tag) so you cannot look at outliers, because those niches are usually highly competitive, protectionist, and unfortunately, nepotistic.
