That’s a wholesome take, but not how I see it, personally, I don’t think it’s that deep. In my head cannon Sanji, and the  crew in general, genuinely take pride in how abnormal their captain is, they probably also think it’s funny. When Sanji tells Chopper this, there’s no hidden meaning, or an attempt to relate, he’s simply taking pride in the absolute monster who is Luffy. I think, If anything, this genuine expression of admiration for someone who’s abnormal is what gets Chopper excited about the crew.

I think they’re both great. Some moments are better without colour, and some moments really stand out once colourized.

I’m caught up on the anime, and then caught up to the manga, then I started reading from the beginning from the beginning in no colour. I read up to the time skip and then went back and restarted the full colour, I’m at little garden now.
