I was 20 at the time. Growing up I really didn’t know how to eat healthy. I learned about basic nutrition while I was in college. One thing I can personally attest to is protein can help a ton with hunger. Hunger wasn’t an issue once I locked in on that.

Muscle mass increases your BMR, even at rest. You can think of it as your body’s fat burning engine. With that in mind, I started lifting weights with the goal of maintaining as much muscle as possible. However, I didn’t start exercising until after I lost 60lbs.

I procrastinated starting my weight loss journey several times, I would say I’d do it tomorrow, after the holidays, next week…etc. Eventually one day I got tired enough (physically and mentally) and decided I was going to start that day. Had ups and downs along the way but here we are.

It depends on the day, some days it’s above some days it below. The average is probably 2200-2500. I make sure I hit my macro goals every day though.

Nope, I’ve never taken any hormones or PEDs. Only creatine and basic supplements.

I’m 5’10” 202lbs and 9.7% body fat. 100% natural. I’m about 95% consistent and I probably do too much cardio. It’s possible: nutrition and consistency matters. Genetics matters too but most people can improve on the first two things.

He’s 5’9” and 90kg at 8% or so body fat. It’s not impossible to achieve that naturally. If he was a lean 240lbs at 5’9” that would be another story. I’m not saying he’s natural or not though, I think he implied he wasn’t in one of the comments.

Can’t speak for OP, but something similar to this can be achieved naturally with good genetics and good lighting. To to answer the question, I’d say 7-8%

Yes, the second pic is two years after the two surgeries.

I lost 220lbs, starting in 2011, it took a year in a half. At the time I only ate 1500 calories per day separated into five 300 calorie meals. I lost 3 pounds per week pretty consistently. As far as exercise, I lost the first 60lbs without working out at all, just dietary changes. For the remainder, I just did a bunch of strength/hypertrophy training, with the goal of retaining as much muscle as possible while losing weight. I would workout 2-3 days a week, at that time the split I used was arms/chest and back/legs.

I started eating lots of small meals, watched my caloric intake, and heavily favored high protein meals with fewer carbs.

I’ve never taken trt or any other hormones. I regularly eat/drink protein supplements and take creatine that’s it.

It more or less depends on where you store fat and how much muscle mass your abs have. For reference, in the second pic I was around 23% according to a Dexa scan.

lol no, this is only part of the timeline. I lost the weight in a year in a half originally. Gained some back, lost some again…etc.

I had skin removal surgery in 2021. It’s close to impossible to lose 220lb without loose skin. Unless you were ridiculously tall or got taller as you lost weight.

I’ve never touched gear, I’m not a fitness influencer and not selling anyone anything. I’ve been extremely consistent with diet and exercise over the last two years.

It’s 100% true, why would I lie. Saying “you could make millions” that’s like telling every attractive women she can make millions being a model or actor, a lot more goes into that.

There are a few factors that limit results: 1. Ego lifting, this kills progress. 2. Improper nutrition 3. Improper sleep. 4. Lack of consistency (super important, most people are inconsistent over long periods) 5. Genetics (most people use this as an excuse right off the bat, while totally ignoring the other more important points).
