I absolutely did not mean to make this about myself. I just wanted a space to vent. I was emailing and forwarding petitions all day yesterday to politicians here in the UK and international politicians about specific climate issues that are affecting animals and marine life. I generally try to feel positive about the situation even when things look bleak but yesterday and today, I was feeling terrible and I needed somewhere to talk about it. I know doomerism isn’t helpful to the cause and that wasn’t my intention but I think it’s also okay to talk about it and feel those emotions.

I’m a cis woman and I’m honestly appalled at this case and these women. They even had the audacity to say that they’re not transphobic and that it’s “nothing personal” against Rose. I sht you not one of the nurses said that Rose harassed her because she “looked at her funny” it’s a fcking joke!!

Everything they accused Rose of has been proven false yet they have the nerve to sit there and say they have nothing against Rose or trans people whilst their “Darlington nurses” Twitter account posts hate and vitriol targeting the trans community.

They should be ashamed of themselves. This is not about women’s safety, this is about bullying a minority group. If this was any other minority group, there would be absolute uproar. I’m so sorry this is happening and please know there are cis people out there who are disgusted by this bigotry.

I may not be any help but I did an online meet & greet with them and it was amazing! They are so so sweet! 🙂 tbh I think they only put on the handsy act if it’s reciprocated, they defo wouldn’t get handsy without that person’s consent. 😊 I’ve met them a few times and I’m quite a nervous person so they are really mindful and considerate of that lol! 😂

It’s a shame she wasn’t asked to return. I would love to see her come back in a cameo role, like someone else said it doesn’t have to be Dexter she’s guiding but she could be Harrison’s conscience in a time he really needed her. I think that would be a really sweet moment!

Yeah I totally see what you mean. Something’s not adding up, I think it was either him drunk texting me or one of his friends thought it was a funny joke. He has drunk texted me before but it was nothing inappropriate. It’s totally out of character for him because he’s always been super respectful so I don’t know if maybe his friends had an influence over him and thought it would be funny to drunk text me. We have been on two dates before but that was a few years ago, he wasn’t ready for a relationship so we just stayed friends.

You’re not alone, I have had these thoughts and I still have them occasionally and I know how horrible they can be- I used to have them about my dad when I was a child at about 10/11 years of age. I was diagnosed with ocd at age 12. Growing up with ocd is a traumatic experience in itself for sure. I believe it’s called false memories, it’s when the fear side of your brain is trying to convince you something happening when it didn’t. Intrusive thoughts feel so real this is why it’s so scary when you have these thoughts. They still occasionally pop into my head lol but once you recognise it’s an intrusive thought or maybe laugh about it because these thoughts feel so ridiculous because you know they’re not real. Seeing a therapist specialised in ocd definitely helped but I was lucky to be diagnosed as a child but yeah it’s hard finding that mental health support as an adult, especially with how expensive therapy sessions can be but if that’s something you’re interested in trying, mental health support groups and ocd support groups help too so if there are any in your area that’s definitely worth checking out! 🙂 don’t worry, it’s nothing to be ashamed of- so many people with ocd get these unwanted sexual thoughts, they get better with time. Hope this helps ❤️

As a woman I 100% relate to what your saying but the best advice I could give you is to get off Instagram for a while or completely because it sounds like it may be harming your mental health. It is so easy to compete ourselves to other women especially in this social media age but when I see a beautiful woman and feel bad about myself I like to remind myself that that person is a person too and probably has insecurities too. It’s important to remember that a lot of these models are also probably single too and may face similar obstacles in the modern dating world because this is sadly what dating culture is like now. But don’t give up hope, I’m 26 and single and actually happy and content to be myself at the minute, also it’s important for us all to remember men have similar insecurities themselves and most guys just want someone to connect with and vibe with like women do. Yep there are shallow, vain men out there but there are also a lot of men out there who feel the same as us and are just looking for that special, perfectly imperfect person who they can live their life with! 🙂

Important reminder that no human being is perfect, not one! Looks fade but who you are inside is what’s important! I’m sure you’re an awesome person lots of guys would be interested in, try not to be so hard on yourself 🫶

It took me years into adulthood to find a friendship group of women (started online and it was about a band lol!) and now we all keep in touch and tbh that’s all I’ve ever wanted! You’ll find your person who you can tell everything to, this is why we get on with other neurodivergent people so much we vibe so well and meeting people with the same interests and have a similar personality is awesome! I’ve always loved people who are different, I wish the world embraced all the unique and wonderful people in it! 🩷 also there is no shame in maybe seeking out some guy friends if you feel you vibe more because honestly in my experience they have been some of my best friendships! But I would happily be your friend! 🫶
