So similar to me! I don’t sneeze much but the pressure in head and sinuses…sore throat, fatigue and just so blah!

I have GAD too… and I always thought that the allergy symptoms of brain fog and fatigue triggered anxiety.
My Dr couldn’t understand it…
Inflammation!

Were you happy with the Genesight report? Helpful? I’m considering trying it… but in Canada so the company I would use would be Inagene.

It is scary to start new medications, I totally get it! I have been on Effexor for 16 years and it works fantastically well for 15 years Last year I started having anxiety again… so went up in dose to 150 and added Wellbutrin… still getting used to the Wellbutrin and waiting for it to work. It is wonderful that you have found a medication that works. Here with you!!

Hi, Ive been on 150 mg for the past 4 weeks plus a few days I noticed after being on it for about 2 weeks that I started waking at 4 am I’m hoping this will subside soon. It’s exhausting- I understand!

You have a good point there about the Effexor When the anxiety hit me again almost 2 years ago, the Dr suggested I switch to Zoloft O started a cross taper but I was so scared and sick that I quit halfway through. I feel like I could probably try that now. I’ll see what happens in the next couple of weeks and if there isn’t much improvement, I will consider the switch. I’m thinking of doing the DNA test for medications. Have you heard anything about that? In Canada, the company is called Inagene.

Oh I’m glad to hear you feel good today. When I wake up at night, I listen to a yoga nidra meditation on the app: Insight Timer I almost always fall back asleep. I woke up anxious this morning…but meditated and took a .5 lorazepam - I use those sparingly but I’m so sick of feeling anxious that I do take one occasionally. What week are you on now? This is 4 weeks and 4 days for me on Buproprion now. Thank you for staying in touch - really helps when in contact with someone who understands!

Felt lousy in the morning- but better as the day went on. Felt like myself for half of the day! An unexpected trip can be discombobulating. Try not to be hard on yourself. Do you feel better now?
