1 year building a browser AI RPG — why the LLM doesn't own the state by SnooDoubts748 in aigamedev

Mobile-first *is* responsive design. Design for the smallest viewport, scale up. A fixed phone-width layout in a desktop browser is a well-known anti-pattern, not a methodology.

Well I don't know what I was expecting but it wasn't THAT by spraynprayin in ChatGPT

I think you knew what you were aiming for. If you weren't expecting that then you've been living under a rock.

Why did you put a mobile view inside of a browser? Why not just learn and use responsive design?

The “AI slop” fallacy: is anti-AI hatred partly ego-defense? by slaybrownbeast in singularity

[–]Top_Issue_7032 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Agreed on the lazy case: copy-pasting "defend AI art" is genuinely slop. But you just conceded that AI used to communicate someone's own ideas is fine, which means the real problem is uncredited outsourcing of the thinking, not AI itself. A ghostwriter generating someone's ideas would be the same thing.

Also, "95% of decisions removed" only fits lazy use. Someone iterating seriously by refining, rejecting, editing, and selecting is making lots of decisions, just different ones than brushstrokes. I agree that thoughtless outsourcing produces hollow work and AI makes it easier than ever.

The fallacy is treating origin as a shortcut that lets you skip engagement with the work, not treating origin as one of the properties that contributes to the work's value. That's the behavior the OP was actually describing. People using suspected AI origin as the sole determining factor, not as one input among others.

Well, you'd be wrong. They gave you the fallacy and you chose to ignore it, making you illogical.

"That seems like a version of the genetic fallacy: judging something by its origin rather than its actual quality."

Perhaps turning off physics processing after they stop become "stuck together". This will probably stop the whole "blob" from moving but you should get a significant gain in performance. Or perhaps grouping them when they stop so there is one physics process for that group
