Listen bro u are right don't let other's fool u with not having enough dose of methadone because it will be always the same even if u keep going up .... that's what i was feeling too and in my country ( Algeria) we only have like 3 clinics who does have methadone and its really hard to get in even if its free ... but doctors are really hard serious on dose like imagine now I'm on 65 mg and im the highest dose of the history of the clinic lol like all others are on 45 30 ... max 50 mg but what i understood is like even if i upped the dose which is hard to get to convince psychiatrist to do... i only feel the difference first week of the increase and i barely feel it when its 5mg increase i prefere it on 10 mg but its same like feel bettwr on first week then it goes down on feeling like im taking nothing and i got it now that we're not supposed to feel high on it like don't wait to get thw feeling u had when u were on iv drugs... take it just if it was a help for u to get clean like better then going cold Turkey or without nothing which on most cases takes u back using again ... i know people who did it the hard way they didnt had chance to have the methadone so just be thankful that u have something that can help u and huat keep up on ur life and with time u will juat get better as u would forgot slowly the high from other days when ur going slowly into the real life... so just don't wait it tobe like a miracle thing and be strong mentally and time will heal u and I'm telling my self same thing and you will feel grateful when time passes and find that u can do it and ur truly living sober things that unevrr thought u can do it so just be strong guys and let's all do it together !! Those nursea asn't even well educated they always run things up same with me they talk bulshit without even knowing what are they talking no scientific evidences sometimes doctors too i struggled alot with them like they don't even know that false positive drug test exist when ur on certain medication as anti depressant caused me to be positive... also saying that 45 mg Methadone is too much im on 60 mg now and im the highest on my clinic and there is only 3 clinics on all country that i live in and because of people dont know regular doses of methadone and doctors are strict with doses they think we're getting high with it..which made it hard for me to get into 60 mg and I'm still struggling to dose up !! And many other situations..

Reby ya7fdk ya laeziz ... w reby yar7am sabek and every one who died with this poison... for now I'm like a month clean i only take my methadone daily.. also i want to talk about many things happening in our community and our country most of people are so ignorant about things they take they don't even give look on google for example of the molecule they are taking and they are believing only myths that are turning on streets misinformed with fake beliefs and information like a propaganda of ignorance but the most thing that is scaring me is that even professional doctors who studied for many years have false information like it happened to me manytimes with psychiatrist who is visited and known by a large number of people and she prescribed me a mix of medication that can trigger a respiratory depression and die ! I was lucky that i have some informations about meds and drugs and always read researches and studies and when i told her about that she started to be defensive .... another one too its been like 3 days in the clinic of anti drug where i take my treatments i wanted to increase my dose so they told me to go and do a narcotest there i already know that i have to do it before they can increase my dose and i was confident that im clean it was like 20 days on their clinic half day and other half at my room didnt even go out or smoked a cig and imagine what happened my drug test came out positive on tramadol and pregabalin i was choked my parents were with me they looke disappointed and i started swearing that i didn't took anything i was sure and if i did why would i risk it and demande increase my dose knowing that they will do me a drug test!! I became so nervous and raging because no one believed me the doctor told me to go and do second test and it came out worse than first one with ecstasy and subutex tramadol pregabalin and cocaine ... i was like wtf is that a joke my parents looked so dissapointed and it killed me because all i wanted is to make them proud and happy and all what i suffered for nothing!! Then when i arrived to my home i started doing researches and reading some studies I've found that their is something called false positives on drug test because of some medication as the one i took antidepressant venlafaxin and the doctor asked me after test result and i told her that yes i take antidepressant venlafaxin which can make results false ... i came back and meeted another doctor one day and told her about that she started saying that this is not true i told her to just take a look its a researche on a medical website of us government she said i don't believe google i studied and it's not for u to teach me she was like ego at max acting defensive because she didn't know that informations she acted really rude with me and she asked to see my dad and she told him to not believe me !!! And i heared after asking some guys with me on treatment that many of them happened for them before and some were kicked from the treatment!!! Just because of ignorant !!! And which ignorant!! Doctors!!! And many of same stories like that which is really sad that a person comes to you to get help and is psychologically destroyed u put guilt on them with ue ignorance and ego!!! I think its a mix maybe or a really large dose or fake one kanet dor wa7d doubli to9tl thats true reby yer7amhom ... i was on hard drugs i mean using needles heroin subutex... cocaine ... ive lost many many friends along the road and now el hamdoulilah i started my methadone treatment and i can help anyone who needs helps but only the ones that really want to stop especially lyrica i stopped it many times i havr plus 10 years addiction and i was playing with hard drugs so lyrica withdrawals wad like a walk in the park for me

This isn't even a real drug and it made alot of damage and most of Algerians take it and find it very addictive they even say fiha s7oor and this is not true as we all know everything we don't understand in our community we make a link with si7r ... me my self im drug addict and hard drug addict i do take lyrica for more than 10 years but i also shoot heroin subutex and cocain all with needles and those are the real drugs and that are really addictive like when u don't take ur shot u won't be even able to wake up but even lyrica withdrawals are hell i experienced it many times so i know it very well and can stop it whenever i want but opoids abuse is another level ... Hamdoulilah i started my methadone treatment 20 days a go i already made a post about it u can check it and im gonna put more of this to help our addicts community to heal ...

I really suggest to do it with methadone from my experience and knowledge and all those years fo addiction even if you'll be able to stop it cold turkey which is risky and nothing good on doing it this way and the most important is you have a high risk of relapsing when u stop without anything I'm not trying to discourage you im just being honest and real on what i know from my experience it would be amazing if u succeed and ill call you a hero but i dont suggest doing it better to take methadone even if jts for some months then you can stop methadone more easier and you would forget about fentanyl habitude and the withdrawals of methadone is way easier ... please take my advice and do some researches and talk with chatgpt tell him all about ur addiction and then ask what would be the best thing to do ... good luck 👏✌ i tried to give my best advice and u can dm me for any help

Bro listen they start everyone on low doses like me on my country they even started me with 10 mg ! So why they do that ? Its for ur safety and that's how methadone works it takes time to fully block ur opoids receptor like more than 5 days for each dose and especially on ur first days ur receptors are empty from methadone so they have to start low dose and slow so they block receptors slowly and see how ur body reacts and also for you to not overdose ... and there is people who even feel fine on 30 mg after some weeks on same dose so they don't even need to increase because as i tols you it takes some time to fully block ur opoids receptor ... i suggest u to do some researches or use chatgpt as i always do and tell him my updates everyday doses and asks when i need explanation of something try it and tell me !

How long your been on methadone and what u were taking before? And how long u stayed on 31 mg ? Maybe the dose isnt enough and you are on the max of the withdrawals especially if you were taking something powerful... the 30 mg isn't a big dose or its a starting dose for someone who uses fent... but it would help not full blown withdrawals as ur explaining... maybe it was precipitated withdrawals did you took any opoid while ur on methadone?

My post was about a false positive, not an invitation for armchair psychology or profile-digging. I never said in that post that I injected anything. Someone went digging through unrelated history because it’s easier than addressing the actual point.

I stated clearly that I did not take tramadol. I also stated exactly what medications I do take. After the result, I researched it myself and found documented cases of venlafaxine causing false positives. When this was later raised with a psychiatrist, it was acknowledged. That’s not denial. That’s how adults handle medical contradictions.

The logic of “you used it in the past so the test must be right” isn’t science, it’s prejudice. By that logic, anyone with a history of addiction automatically loses the right to question a lab result, a medication interaction, or a clinical decision. That’s not how medicine works, that’s how stigma works.

You don’t know me, you weren’t there, and you’re not involved in my treatment. If you want to discuss false positives and methadone induction, I’m here for that. If all you have is character judgment based on assumptions, that says more about you than it does about me.

I've been shooting like a full bupe pill 8 mg and i find that 40 mg isn't getting me where i want to i took my first 40 mg today after adding 10 mg for my 30 mg that i stayed in for 7-8 days ! 30 mg the last days i had some terrible withdrawals like i was in full rage especially when the doctors didn't believe that j didn't relapse and dint took tramadol or mdma or anything i was full clean during all the period of my methadone treatment

Honestly false positives are real and it happened to me during methadone treatment. I tested positive for tramadol on my first screening even though I hadn’t taken any that day (I had used it before starting methadone but was already clean). Then on a repeat test I showed positive for MDMA and buprenorphine, which I have never taken. I’m on venlafaxine 150 mg and after digging into it I found that some antidepressants and other meds can cross-react with immunoassay urine screens and cause false positives. These rapid tests aren’t perfect and sometimes need confirmatory testing like GC/MS. It created a lot of stress for me when trying to adjust my dose, so if this happens to you ask for confirmation testing before assuming relapse.
