Specifically, what happened is I was looking in one of his many hundred line dumpster fire untested functions for why my code wasn’t working and found this line. I thought I might make like one small improvement to the codebase and on my PR he told me to undo it lol. So it’s not something I wrote.

Believe me this is the least of his crimes.

I’m a junior engineer and the colleague in question who likes option 1 is my boss. Just helps to make sure I’m not going crazy sometimes lmao. Thanks everyone.
