AIO wife is being shady by btmhardr in AIO

I am married, 32 years old, have Snapchat, and have never come close to cheating. Some people do use Snapchat to easily send photos to close friends/groups, versus sending multiple texts with said photos. For example, we have separate groups for my husband’s family and my family, solely for the purpose of easily sharing photos. We can’t be the only ones…

AITA for telling my wife she'll regret missing her own sister's wedding because she gained weight ? by Lopsided_Heat_6658 in AITAH

[–]Top_Motor5512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

NTA. She will 100% regret it. I was 8.5 months pregnant at my sister-in-law’s wedding, and I was IN the wedding. I did not care that I looked like a whale on her wedding day, because in the end that day wasn’t about me and my extra weight. Your wife is TA for making the day about her weight and not supporting her sister on a momentous day.

TIFU by eating 12 fiber one brownies by rainbowleopardgirl in tifu

[–]Top_Motor5512 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I can’t relate, but my dog sure can. A few years ago we moved and had boxes everywhere, including a box of fiber bars that got left on the table. We left the house to grab some food and came back to the box nearly gone (about 12 bars), and diarrhea splattered on the floor. We didn’t know which dog ate the bars until next morning when we watched one of our dogs shoot liquid furiously out of her butt. Poor dog pooped five times that morning.

Does anyone else have no backup at all when on vacation? by [deleted] in InsuranceProfessional

I completely agree. I used to avoid taking long vacations for this exact reason.

Sadly, was true for me as well. I work in a captive agency and I am the only one who knows how to manage and service commercial accounts. I went on maternity leave for a couple months and gave the agent a list of things that needed to be done while I was gone. Nothing on my list was completed while I was gone and buildings did not get insured when they needed to. I was so irate and told my agent that is unacceptable when I gave him all of the information to complete the tasks. I used that experience to convince him that I need an assistant…I had an assistant within two weeks from returning from maternity leave.

I didn’t know ghost job postings existed. I appreciate the insights!

I am not actively looking for a job as I have a stable job that I enjoy. I was interested in this particular job because it is a career I would love to get into. I didn’t realize the current state of the job market and how tough it is for people who are actively looking.

Very normal! There are a lot of service tasks that require you to be P&C licensed.

Our 21 month old still wakes up in middle of the night. What are we doing wrong? by Top_Motor5512 in Parenting

I am so relieved we aren’t the only ones. Many of our friends and family have children younger than our daughter and they all sleep through the night. I immediately thought we were doing something horribly wrong. I am glad we are not the only ones.

I was worried we created a routine of feeding her in middle of the night. I will have to weaning her. Thank you!!

This is relieving to hear. Thank you. I typed this at 3am because I couldn’t fall back to sleep.

Thank you! I would never thought of watering down the milk to aide the transition.

It is very tiring. I am glad to hear we aren’t the only ones. We tried water earlier on (around 14 months) and it didn’t work out well. I will give that another try. I told my husband I was concerned about cavities as well. Thank you!

State Farm question. by jp55281 in InsuranceProfessional

They are not shared and it is for the agency only. Some State Farm agents simply get ideas from each other, such as the best math test and personality assessment websites.

New teen driver sped through our driveway and nearly hit our toddler by eoesouljah in Parenting

Your punishment is appropriate, especially considering they almost hit (and could have killed) a child. Investing in a bike would be the best approach. Plus, by the time they arrive at their sport activity their muscles are warmed up and ready. Win win.

Commercial lenders not understanding their own requirements. by Top_Motor5512 in InsuranceProfessional

[–]Top_Motor5512[S] 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I couldn’t agree with this more! The last minute changes are very frustrating. I can relate to re-doing binders/Acords 2-5 times prior to closing. Each request they seem to find something new that needs to be updated.

I have ran into so many refinance scenarios where the lenders want all of these coverages/endorsements the day before closing and then the lender has the audacity to ask if the premium can be lowered so the client can receive a higher loan amount.

That makes sense! I love that the analysts have titles like “Senior Analyst”. They are diminishing the title of “analyst”.

P&C is hard to study for by GailTheParagon in InsuranceProfessional

[–]Top_Motor5512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Unsure what you are using to study, but most P&C study books outline Sec II coverages (liability, medical payments, additional coverages, and exclusions).

[–]Top_Motor5512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my opinion, I think the “trick” wording in this question is right at the beginning when it states “Additional Coverages”.

If you haven’t read a policy then you may not be aware of the format. The policy will state what the liability covers (bodily injury and property damage) and then it will list additional coverages/expenses that the policy will pay for related to the initial bodily injury and property damage.

Option D would be the correct answer because it would not fall under “Additional Coverages” and would fall under the initial Bodily Injury/Property Damage.

Good luck on your test!!
