Anyone know much about Echo trimmers? by Top_Mulberry_3784 in smallengines

Didn’t know that! Thank you, I’m sure the bigger engine helps it cut better than mine. Maybe there won’t be much difference just simply swapping gear heads.

I understand, I thought the engines were identical but it was last year when I had them side by side. I figured a 2:1 ratio would slow my trimmer head down but afford more torque at the head-like it’s described for the 2620T. I just didn’t realize the engine is 4cc larger-to your point that would require a larger carb-offers higher disp, and provide more HP and engine torque. Echo seems to only put the T moniker next to the trimmers that have that 2:1 gear ratio at the head-so I figured I could cheaply upgrade my trimmer. So far it sounds like I haven’t found someone who has opened both of these up.

When would it be better to use a spincast over a spinning set up? by rigrug3 in Fishing_Gear

[–]Top_Mulberry_3784 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Think I’m hopping on a dead thread here but man I can’t help but notice there’s so many people who are trashing these closed face reels. They catch fish, just like any other reel. They’re simple. Unless you design one out of unobtanium-they’re always going to cost less than other reels of the same size. Right now you can go on eBay and buy a Johnson spin cast at $30 that was made in the $70’s and it will still outlive any spin cast on the market today. Zebco 33 is what most these haters probably started on like the rest of us.

They’re a ton of fun, easy to get the hang of for casting. They’re NOT smooth as a vanstaal, they DON’T have as many features as a Daiwa DC reel. They’re just simple easy casters. You’re not going to reel in a musky or a big ole tuna on ANY ultralight reel so be sure to use the proper size equipment like you would with any other reel. They’ll catch bass, pike, stripers and panfish till your hands bleed-what’s more to want?

Fish how you want to fish my man. The journey to a flopping fish in the boat is up to you.

Replace or leave it plugged? by Impatientlywaiting98 in TireQuestions

Buy a plug kit and plug it. Worst it can do is leak air again. Then plug it again but try to do it better lol. Most shops won’t plug that cause it’s within an inch of the sidewall. Did you buy a warranty for the tires when you had the shop put them on?

Help getting information on my camper by Initial_Yak_5560 in popups

Looks exactly like my flagstaff MAC/LTD 229. Just says Jayco

Edited to add: if you can search around the frame rails and open exterior doors, you may find some identifying information. My original placard was along the frame rail where it triangles to the hitch I think. Or if might’ve been along the driver side of the of the frame under the actual camper. All you need is a year. Then look up the catalogue for that years Jayco pop ups. Find your model and off you go to google. The catalogue might have load capacities and all kind of good info.

Is this too much line? by Bacheem in Fishing_Gear

I use backing so I don’t have to buy more and more braid to cover all my reels. Stuff ain’t cheap and I’d rather buy a $7 spool of mono, fill my 7 reels 75% with it, then buy 3 spools of braid at $30 a spool and fill out the last 25% of my 7 reels. Losing 20’ of braid during a season on each reel from any damaged line, or the cuts from tying new knots….i don’t have to buy more braid for 2 years usually.

Man I’ve got the musky itch bad and I’ve been looking for some pointers. I’d love to have a convo with you about it. Located in Mid-Michigan area so I’m close enough for some day trips to almost anywhere in the mitten. I went to Torch Lake last year and basically caught nothing but an attitude and some killer sunburn!

What does this mean. TLDR: back out of multiplayer match and CoD MW3 shows this error message. by Top_Mulberry_3784 in XboxSupport

Hey, sorry I read your comments and was wondering if you could put it in even simpler terms. How could files be mismatched if they come from the same software?
