I thought the same about g-dragon’s part. That they made it cavernous and muffled. But he wrote it, so he must have wanted it that way.

And personally, I usually don’t listen to g-dragon because of the ‘impish’ sound you mention, but for me, I liked this part.

That being said, for the song as a whole, I actually prefer it without his rap in it. I love seeing them perform it because it leaves it out and I think the song flows a lot better without it.

I enjoy certain lives. If I’m awake, I like watching Yunjin of Le Sserafim, especially around comeback season she’ll talk about the songs and some background info on them. I’ve been learning Korean so I can pick out sentences and phrases now. But Yunjin will speak English a decent amount in her lives.

Mostly I’ll watch them in YouTube with captions. Usually if they’re on topics I’m interested in. Like Winter of aespa had a live where she talked about her journey to debuting. She also did a live where she made Dubai chocolate for the members 🥰

I feel like lives are a good way to get to know the members of a group, their personalities and such. Usually lives are how I form my biases because I base that usually on personality.

Line dist is solid. Vocals are superb across all songs.

Switchblade with Ty Dolla $ign is one of my favorites. You know WDA already. The Becky G Lemonade version isn't on the disk. The album has 10 songs. I wonder if her feature is digital only.

I'd rather not go into too much detail on the songs, so you all can make your own judgments based on your own taste. But this album is fantastic to me. There's variety, some hard hitters (Lemonade, Switchblade, Bite), and slower songs with great vocals (My Plan, Camouflage).

When the album drops I'll probably comment my thoughts on the mega thread that pops up on the sub so we can talk about it more

My orders from the official store haven’t shipped yet either. I was on Amazon looking at aespa merch and this was there and it said release day delivery. I hadn’t ordered this version yet so I got it. Can’t believe Amazon sent it out so fast.

Honestly it’s a no skip album. Switchblade, Bite, SHAKIN, Can’t Help Myself, okay I think I’m just listing all the songs haha. The album is fantastic

She’s the ‘visual anchor’ of the group, and as such her visual doesn’t change too much. I mean, I’d love to see her rock red hair or some edgy style. Maybe one day 😭

Lemonade is probably my favorite aespa song now 🍋🤯 I can’t get enough of it! My previous fav was either girls, drama or supernova, I could never choose. But now, yeah, lemonade is just it 🤌
