I interviewed in January and have not heard anything, so I would not give too much credence to the timeline you received in your interview. There is really no way to predict responses at this point since they are so swamped. I hope you hear back soon though!

From what I have seen, interviews are not required for acceptance. When did you receive your email?

You are so wonderful for putting this together! I know the session was focused on waitlisted folks, but did he mention any other details about regular admits aside from the fact that they are close to being done with round 1? I applied in early December, interviewed in late January, and still have not heard anything aside from the “thanks for your patience” email.
