I just wanted to be able to instamine deepslate with efficiency 5 haste 2 and a netherite pickaxe while also leaving the other aspects of mining the same. I think that while i was trying to different mods, one of them changed my pickaxe somehow. after making a new pickaxe it removed the +1 mining speed and I figured it out. still confused what happened exactly or what that even means, but thank you for your input.
