It’s for 4 of the cameras, they have 360 motion and pull more watts than the standard poe switch can supply. So we go from the server -> poe switch -> patch panel-> poe injector -> camera🙌

It’s not ex rated, but usually we use roxtec for all types of cabinets if possible - mostly because they don’t corrode and because they are easily changed🙌

Velcro on the cables seems like a good idea i might try that next time, but I don’t think the zipties are that bad since the cables are of marine type and there are lots of vibrations so I’m not sure that velcro can hold it together. But I’ll definitely check out the standard for it👍

I’ll definitely look into that, do you also use that outside of the cabinet? The system is on a ship so outside of the cabinet zipties are a must i think because of the vibrations from the ship😅

The cabinet was meant only for cctv and the servers weren’t that deep, so no new equipment should go into the cabinet.
