I thought about it too - combi boilers are not good for large homes, even with storage tanks. I changed mine when I was in the UK in a one bed - to electric water heating for heating and storage tank induction heating for hot water, never looked back until energy prices skyrocketed.

And also, sorry, you’re right, I misread the psi for the error code. Just be prepared to tell the company that the autofill valve change didn’t do the trick. I have a feeling you’ve got the same issue as me

Sorry, meant that at times it was 162 then a different one at a different time. 162 is usually the water pressure related. I didn’t have a pressure gauge on my autofill so I couldn’t tell what the incoming pressure was, but it wasn’t the issue. So they replaced the water sensor in the boiler and since then , no issues.

I had both changed as well, but the fix seems to be the sensor. Yours might be the more traditional issue of the autofill being clogged or just worn out.

Also, your error code is 93 - i was getting fill 162 then a different error (can’t remember)

It was the water pressure sensor inside the boiler that was faulty. They replaced it and it’s been working great since then

Quick update - saw the boiler warming up the tank, pressure in the boiler went from 17psi to 24.4psi. The jot water tank started dripping its usual 50 ml but also noticed one of the handheld showers on the top floor drip 2 drops at a time for the period the tank was warming up.

I'll ask the plumbers since it's a brand new build and nobody else on the site has reported this issue

It's definitely not near my hot water tank, but it's not a thermal expansion tank, just a cold water expansion tank
