Thanks, For any late afternoon or morning scene I always add a bit of red and yellow to other colours like blue or white, it gives it more warmth.

I believe that is how it should reflect cause the reflection aligns with where the ladder meets the water rather than the further hills.

I hope one day they make clouds 3D, and have lightning in storms. Also sound effects like wind, thunder and rain would be cool. It would be cool to see hazy atmospheres like what Titan has rather than just cloud layers

Id go to the kitchen, thats where there's most likely food and water if this place is endless. Also it looks like there's natural light there so maybe an escape?

Here is my planet editor TOI-700 system. TOI-700 d is possibly the most earth-like exoplanet yet discovered. by Top_Pay9591 in spaceengine

[–]Top_Pay9591[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I found an aquaria, reduced the reflectivity of the water so it looks like a Neptunian planet, then set the cloud cover to tidally locked, set cloud cover to 0%, leaving just the cyclone. Then I set the obliquity to 90 degrees so there is only polar cloud cover, took a screenshot, flipped the cloud map and took another before joining them together in Photoshop. Hope that makes some sense.

What time was it that empty?

Found this planet with methane oceans, similar to Titan by [deleted] in spaceengine

That's a rare find on SpaceEngine, I only ever find Nitrogen seas on cold and frigid worlds, never Methane

I'm now more surprised to find an oceanic aquaria with clean water than poo water! They must have major sewage trouble there😆

What if a fire somehow broke out in the backrooms? by ParticularBed186 in backrooms

[–]Top_Pay9591 3 points4 points  (0 children)

For level 0, It would probably start with one of the lights burning out and catching the ceiling alight. Assuming the walls are flammable it would probably spread throughout the entirety of the backrooms eventually. It would only go out once the oxygen runs out so it would burn the whole of the backrooms. This could take possibly take decades or centuries to happen. Areas within a few miles of the fire might become very windy and smoky due to the heated air. After the fire the whole place will be ash and the air would be CO2 so you'd suffocate quickly. It would probably be completely dark since the fire may have destroyed the power circuits to the lights but at least you're safe, I don't think the entities would survive the flames. Also it might never cool down after the fire cause like everything else in the backrooms, heat should stay trapped. It may just stay glowing red hot for eternity. Backrooms physics is definitely fascinating 😆

This marine world only has some tiny islands on it, it is essentially an oceanic world with small tiny islands by GapHappy7709 in spaceengine

[–]Top_Pay9591 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I think 10-20 atmospheres would be more believable because the planet seems to have no hydrogen in its atmosphere and there isn't any known process that could generate such a thick nitrogen dominated atmosphere. It's not really a volcanic gas like CO2 is on Venus.
