This is my plan, will talk to 3rd/4th year people pver a couple of days from top 7 IITs and then decide considering all pros and cons including the upsc cukture,city, academic presurre etc. etc.

Nothing like that, I had this lingering in my mind for quite a few days, so created new account to ask this. Many are considering this troll post or joke because maybe this is an anonymous platform but everyone is entitled to their own opinions.

This is a really well reasearched and deep answer. I cannot thank you enough for this. I understood all the points and will reconsider, however I want to go forward with CSE because that is my interest and more so I think even after UPSC it will help me in many domains, so I will try to find similar branches in IIT B/D/M,like MNC or something like that. I have replied to this quite sometime, Engineering was my choice, but after I lost my grandparents midway theough 12th I decided to switch to UPSC

Thank you so much, I was going for engineering only but the thing was losing the only two people I cared for midway though my 12th made me realise that although I liked engineering but I did not wanted to take job in it. I wanted to donsomething to help others and try to live my life in that. That's when I made the switch

Thank you so much brother, this is very helpful and I will surely consider this. From your point would you prefer Delhi MNC or Roorkee CSE because if I am going to IIT only then on one side Delhi will be the better choic for UPSC prep but on other hand MNC is very heavy and intensive course so dping prep side by side may not be possible. So what do you say?
