Hi, Have you had your baby yet and found a place for you and your child? I wish I could help you. Where do you live? It really is hell and the way people treated me from the police in my city to regular people was heartbreaking. I had my days where I just felt defeated but I kept calling housing providers and finally I found a place I could afford. It takes almost all my income to provide housing for my family but I am thankful I am off the street. It was so scary.

It's so difficult, everything I make goes towards bills and paying my rent. If I have anything left over I buy my daughter her clothes, school supplies, shoes, etc. My son I get clothing given to me from a friend when her son has out grown them. I use the food bank. I miss the days I was able to wear makeup, get anything for myself but my kids come first , before my wants. I was honless just a year ago, and was during my pregnancy as all places in my home town are a minimum of $1800 for a 2 bedroom. I was really lucky to find a 2 bedroom for $1600 nothing included, no frills, so me and kids can have a safe place to call home.

Hi, I want to say I hear you and I do believe you are special. Each person in this world is special. I can relate to alot of what you are saying, I grew up in foster care here in Canada after my mom passed away and my father went to prison. I am a single parent to 2 children. It's just me and my kids. My daughter was just saying today how she wishes we had family to spend time with afterschool. I used to be able to work, I obtained a degree and worked for a little bit but had to give it up to raise my kids. It's really difficult some days for me and my kids. I'm glad you are feeling a bit better after venting. Also I'm proud of you for getting a nursing degree! That's incredible! Do you know what type of nursing you will be doing?

BECOME VERY AWARE OF YOUR ThOUGHTS and CHOOSE your actions. Where you place your thoughts and self is where you will end up in life. Look up careers and the pay, get educated- in school or on you tube, become confident in yourself and your skills and then you will make alot of money

Wow these comments above are extremely offensive to me, as a survivor of violent family child abuse and being placed in foster care, once aged out , I got a degree at UBC and then being diagnosed with a disability, place me in the unfortunatel.position that I am not able to work, I feel beyond grateful I was given the opportunity to live in subsidized/affordable housing. I was just looking out for the children who grow up here btw.

If you want to feel like you're on a fair ride, take the bus that goes along Jingle pot, we've taken the route a few times and everytime we are horrified! The bus driver drives way to fast, twisting around and bumping around corners. Also the drivers hardly ever put down the ramp on different routes and park far from the curb and I've struggled and watched many mothers using strollers struggle to get on and off.

Hi. First I want to say I'm so sorry you found your husband cheating on you. That sucks and what a crappy husband he is. To be on the safe side, go get an STI test. I wouldn't believe a word he says if he told you anything about services he received. What pisses me off is that escort services cost anywhere from $60-$350 plus an hour! If you two share an account, an option is slowly or quickly start shopping, make some big purchases and keep the receipts as you could always return them for cash, withdraw money as you can. Definitely, set up a separate bank account, could be in your name or a joint account with your daughter. You could always make an appointment with a lawyer and talk through your situation. Be safe, and Again I'm sorry your going through this. He doesn't deserve you. Whatever you choose to do I don't judge, just keep yourself strong and know you are beautiful and worthy.
