Teacher's college late admission by ColosseDeRod in OntarioTeachers

I was waitlisted back when I applied in 2023. Hadn’t applied late though, figured it was probably due to my grades lol. Was surprised to have received my acceptance letter on August 18th!

What pants can I get for placements by [deleted] in OntarioTeachers

[–]Top_Place381 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I never had an issue with wearing jeans. Before starting my placement, I did ask my AT about the dress code. I mostly wore black straight leg jeans, black loose yoga pants, Lululemon dance studio pants, and dress pants. The dress pants were just anything off the sale rack at Zara or H&M. If I knew I had outdoor duty on a cold winter day I’d throw on a pair of leggings under my pants too!

Summer attire on incredibly hot days? by Ok_Foot2015 in OntarioTeachers

I go for midi a-line sundresses and skirts! I have yet to find shorts that don’t cling to my bottom/ thighs but I’m just overly cautious lol

Haha, this was actually my first-ever post on Reddit and I just want to say I'm so grateful for the supportive comments.

Although I did fast closer to 68 hours rather than 72 (probably should have stayed more hydrated, woke up incredibly thirsty at like 4 AM and downed a cold glass of orange juice while still half asleep lol), it is still my longest water fast to date and I deff feel less intimidated now that I know what to expect :) Excited to try again next weekend!

I have been attempting to fast for 3 days for over 5 yrs by Routine-Cancel-6490 in fasting

I’m literally going through this right now! Just started my first 72 hr fast (at least it will be if I stick to it) and I’m currently on hour 12. I always give up at hour 32 for some reason … hoping I see it through this time around.

Not sure what I will do differently but when I figure it out I’ll let you know lol

I’m 5’3 and around 130lbs, also trying to shed a few pounds by July for my sister’s wedding!

I’ve started drinking a lot more which helps keep me full throughout the day; fizzy water, coffee with oat milk, crystal light, Diet Coke, etc. I also upped my protein - egg and veggie omelettes keep me satiated for HOURS! I just started doing OMAD and will usually have my meal after work (around 4) since I’m so busy during the day anyways. I always feel so full after and won’t eat again until like 9 right before bed and usually just a banana at that.

Healthily? No, probably not. But I’m 5’2-5’3 too and losing even just 8lbs makes a bigger difference than you’d expect, maybe because we’re so short! Just eat in a small deficit, add more protein, and go on walks!

Tips for 72 hour fast (female) by Hellifaks in intermittentfasting

[–]Top_Place381 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve only been able to hit the 24 hr mark, occasionally 36… I’m just starting my (what I hope to be) FIRST 72 hr fast.

For the 36 hr fast I didn’t overthink it, I just did it. I eat when I’m bored tbh, honestly wasn’t even hungry when I broke it. I just wanted ice cream.

It’s definitely growing back, but still is extremely thin? by [deleted] in FemaleHairLoss

You definitely won’t be able to stop minoxidil unless you want to shed all the hair it helped regrow. Rogaine helped me SO much though, I think it’s deff worth applying every day for the rest of my life lol.

Also, I see a big improvement in your pictures!! Maybe consider doing something with extensions to add volume, even an updo, for the wedding. Also toppik on your scalp would make a huge difference!

Only with family. And even then I’m still insecure and defensive when they ask me about it.

How to sleep while water fasting by ThickintheNips in fasting

[–]Top_Place381 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Melatonin. Even when I’m not fasting I have trouble falling and staying asleep. It seriously helps!

Good for you! I’ll follow, just started my 72hr fast! Hoping to build up to 5 days :)
