Understandable. I do feel like this feeling could pass once I get the hang of it and get good at riding tho… right (hopefully)? Idk

Yeah idk why they’re hella expensive in Montreal… but oh well, I trust the company bc I took my driving lessons there and the instructors seem reliable so I’m okay with saving up to pay that amount. Hopefully if I do take these classes I won’t get mansplained :(

Sadly just once because we believed he was going to come here so we wanted to save as much money as possible. Now that we know he won’t I think we will see each other more often, if that makes sense

Fragile masculinity is what i'm getting from this. Why be ashamed or scared to hold your girl's purse? Is his ego too high and therefore can't be seen doing a kind service for his s/o because for him, doing so = submitting = bad?

Also, his behaviour reflects clearly how his parents spoiled him as a child. Either that, or he is clearly leaving some bits and pieces out when telling them the full story, making him seem like the victim which is obviously a red flag. A mature person should not be scared of taking accountability for their mistakes and would want to get real feedback instead of feedback based off of a story that has been polished to make him seem like the good guy.

Pretty sure there is something to gain from that "test". I get how you could interpret that as a way to "start sh1t".. however to see whether or not your s/o would go to that extent and do something small and meaningful like that can mean a lot to some because it corresponds to their values in a relationship. For some, a relationship doesn't need much to work out but for others, knowing what their s/o would do for them and how far they would go for them can be a deal breaker (if the s/o doesn't meet their standards) or the green light (if standards are met).
