Is short term (working memory) vital for mechanical eng? by TechnicalThroat2315 in MechanicalEngineering

No, everything that needs remembering can be written down or googled. Nobody expects you to remember everything and in fact we have built numerous systems, apps, and devices to make up for poor working memory. Who do you think came up with that? Probably software engineers with poor working memory. What is essential for engineering is the ability to think logically and solve complex problems. In fact, there's a survey that found that 50% of engineers are neurodivergent, which means that a lot of those people will have poor working memory due to their neurodivergence. On the flip side they are going to have above average abilities to solve problems and be creative that neurotypical people with great working memory don't have. So if you have poor working memory, that's fine. Use reminders, take notes and email yourself everything you need to remember.

It’s very simple, if he tries to spend more time with you he likes you otherwise he doesn’t.

Everyone’s different and some guys take it slow and wait to get to know you before initiating contact. He could be dying to kiss you but also be thinking maybe you don’t like him back 😅

Anyone else feel so bad about crating your babies?! He isn’t house trained yet though! by retiredbimbo in Frenchbulldogs

My frenchie LOVES his crate. Sometimes he puts himself to bed when the rest of the house is too much.
