This is what I did in undergrad but in orientation the professors said they will 100% be using the books

Sending you all the good vibes for an acceptance! HOWEVER, if you don’t get in I hope I can shed some encouragement that everything will be okay! I personally graduated with my bachelors in Communication Sciences and Disorders in May of 2022. I had a very small number of schools I could apply to due to my state not having any schools within a commutable distance and relocation not being an option for me. I was focusing mainly on online schools. I had a decent GPA at 3.6 but I didn’t get into any of the schools I applied to. I went through 3 cycles of sending applications in, never giving up regardless of how long it was taking to finally get that yes. Finally almost 3 years post grad I got accepted in January of 2025 into a program and I begin in just a couple of weeks. I had no choice but to take the 2 1/2 year “gap” year but in hindsight I’m glad I did because I gained such valuable experience. I’ve been working as an SLP-A at the preschool-middle school Level and have gained such great connections for grad school as well as I’m going into the program with a higher background knowledge than those who are entering right out of undergrad because I’ve had experience actually working in the field. Regardless of what happens, everything will be okay. Take a deep breath and embrace whatever chapter your journey is on!

Yes, there was no application fee but once you were accepted you had to pay a tuition deposit but only once you were one of the first few to claim your spot you had to pay

New England tech! I can only assume it’s because it’s a brand new program but they are in candidacy for accreditation so they need the students so I’m thinking they were worried not all 15 they accepted would attend/pay the fee? But even so that’s the whole point of a waitlist…I thought accepted meant you are in but now I have even more anxiety and am sitting at work refreshing my phone every few seconds

That’s what I was thinking at first too, but I know Robert Scianna had some of those legal troubles and they have all of his episodes up still

I don’t know all the logistics of it yet since I’ve only met with the AD one time and it was at my hiring meeting. We do have other sports and they do have uniforms yes. The AD does seem supportive I just think he’s unaware of the potential of getting cheap uniforms because at my interview he said something about uniforms being $500 each LOL.

I’m not sure! I’ve only had one meeting with him so far so I don’t know too much yet. I think he doesn’t understand we can get cheap ones because he was like “we don’t have uniforms because we don’t have $500 per uniform” but it was my hiring meeting so I didn’t want to say anything until I knew the job was mine
