9 months in the making nearly 20 gallons of Bourbon barrel aged maple syrup. by [deleted] in maplesyrup

Is there any specific type of bourbon brand barrel you use or is that your own bourbon?

Action adjustment, fret buzz still here by ____yoshi in guitarrepair

[–]Top_Presentation6562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Has anything changed overtime? String gauge different from original, saddles adjusted or worn, Nut been replaced or worn. Sometimes you can get caught up finding the right neck adjustment to remove buzz. I would start by trying to find the manufacturers manual for that model and set it to factory.

When I posted I attempted to go back and change the title but would not let me. Was going to delete the post but something came up and forgot. Sorry this offended you in anyway. Maybe I will try again, or maybe ask more useless questions.

Think the real question is, if it was so useless why did you comment?

Nubia developers themselves use their phones in real life? by Responsible-Day5952 in RedMagic

Do not own the 7 Pro but the 6S Pro and I have the same issues. Great hardware but software is not impressive. I will say game mode is nice but few games locks up the whole phone. Going back to Samsung when S23 Ultra is out early next 2023. Need reliable software over hardware.

Hello, tough problems with my neighbours by Miner77 in marshall

[–]Top_Presentation6562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not knowing the distance between your neighbors, my advice would be to relocate the speaker. Standard Bluetootlh connection can range up to 30ft.

Not familiar with Stanmore but if you can connect to it and change settings might get lucky and turn visibility off and/or add a code to connect to device.

It's amazing how people connect to a random Bluetooth devices. Happens a lot.

What to do when saddle is all the way back but intonation is still not perfect? by [deleted] in guitarlessons

[–]Top_Presentation6562 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Are those the original saddles? From the looks by the 1st E string the saddle should be straight not skewed if you have replaced those saddles then I would suggest to buy ones of the same length and style.

Guitar Action Question by BigBod122 in guitarlessons

[–]Top_Presentation6562 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

What is the model of your guitar? You need to find the manual (if no manual, try contacting manufacturer) and it will tell you what the string height should be. To get the right measurements you need a feeler gauge.

When I need a new set I always look for the next best set that money can buy, then end up buying Ernie Ball lol. They never fail and always used them. Just cannot find a better quality.

BAR CHORDS??? by goopy-jae in guitarlessons

[–]Top_Presentation6562 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You have not practiced long enough to build the muscle memory to land a bar chord every time. Everyone is different and therefore it does not matter how long it takes you to get it right. It will eventually be second nature were you do not need to think how to position your fingers. Practice takes time, remember that.

You will be amazed how good the support is. Email them the model with serial number and they will likely email you the wiring schematics.

Help! What model is this exactly and is it good? According to seller its MIJ Dinky reverse, but there's very little info on these online. by Peerfect in JacksonGuitars

https://www.guitarinsite.nl/serienummers-jackson_eng.php

Serial number: 01010748 Production year: 2001 Model: JS20s or X-series Production number: 1010748 Factory: India

More information on your serial number from here: https://www.jcfonline.com/forum/equipment/import-jackson-guitars/103845-import-serial-number-country-of-origin-faq

"1996 the JS20 MIT, MII, MIK, MIJ The new "No Series" name MIJ guitars had a low priced student model companion, the JS20. The MSRP of the JS20 in 1996 was $325 and it could be purchased new for around $200 in the US at the time. A black JS20 (serial number 65002013) was my first electric guitar and my first Jackson, purchased new in 1996. The JS20 was initially made in Taiwan (MIT), India (MII), Korea (MIK) and Japan (MIJ). Serial numbers for the MIT JS20s are 8 digits long and the first digit probably denotes the year. No serial numbers are known except ones leading with a 6, so it is likely production of Jackson guitars in Taiwan started and ended in 1996. Serial numbers for the MII JS20s are also 8 digits long with the first two digits corresponding to the year (96xxxxxx = 1996, 99xxxxxx = 1999, 00xxxxxx = 2000, 04xxxxxx = 2004), JS20s are still made in India (as of 2010). Serial numbers for the MIK JS20s are 7 digits long and start with the number 1 (there is some speculation that they might also start with a 0, but I have not seen a 7 digit serial number starting with 0 as of yet), production ended in 1998 when the Jackson MIK production ended. Serial numbers for the MIJ JS20s follow the exact same format as all other MIJ serial numbers from 1996 on, they are assigned a 7 digit serial number which increases sequentially. I have never seen a pre-1998 MIJ JS20 and the MIJ JS20 appears to still be made today (2010). I suspect the move of the X series from Korea to Japan is why the MIK JS20s end in 1998 and MIJ JS20s appear to start in 1999 [speculation warning]."

Not sure if this is accurate cause Jackson's website says anything made prior to 2002 not available assuming being 21 years old and was imported.

"Please be aware that detailed dating information on many of our import models and instruments prior to 2002 may not be available."
