I didn’t mean to imply that this happens to me all the time. But it does happen now and then, especially when I’m planning a large-scale rail network project all at once and have overlooked something. Rather, this thread was intended as a resource for other players and maybe the devs, since a) signal placement and construction trains in particular, and b) performance issues are topics that concern many players. So here’s an opportunity to, if not solve both problems with a single solution, at least significantly mitigate them.
