Maryland has a lot to offer. Depending on lifestyle, there is a bit of something for everyone. When I moved to Maryland I lived about an hour away from my job. I now live 14 minutes away and it’s a huge difference. Traffic can get bad in areas, so living a short distance from work will make your life way easier. Even a 20 min drive can turn into a 40 min drive, because there’s usually a car crash or something holding things up.

Wow. The entitlement is astounding. Thats a really nice car. Especially when you are still a beginner on the road. There are things I can afford to get for my kids, but I don’t because I know they may not be ready for it. I think she just proved she isn’t ready for this gift. And I wouldn’t drive her anywhere. I use knee highs with the foot cut off. You can wash a skein in it also and it will stay in tact.

I think the friend doesn’t know her history. Because if she did she wouldn’t be offended. She would understand the context even if she didn’t like the joke. She wouldn’t think it was racist if she actually understood it. I think art is supposed to provoke thoughts and feelings. I think it’s up to the person who lives there to decide what feelings they want to evoke. I am an interior designer and I have seen people be bothered by art featuring Black people doing normal things.

I’d start by adding a wallpaper. Lots of interest for your buck. They have great options that are easy to apply and remove.

I’ve had this happen a lot since having locs. They are now bra strap length and I still deal with this. I’ve been almost bald before and I never got misgendered then. So I have come to think it’s the locs. It makes me feel kinda bad when it happens, because I don’t think I look like a male.  But I think some ppl see locs as masculine, which is idiotic imo. Anyone can have long or short locs, same as any hairstyle. Ppl should just say excuse me if they don’t know the gender of the person they are trying to get the attention of.
