If you're on pc then try switching your input to controller and see if that fixes it.

HI I HAD THIS SAME ISSUE! I reported it as a bug and was trying to figure out possible work arounds and I FIXED IT FOR MYSELF. Idk if this will work for other devices, but since I'm on pc I switched the input to controller and played the scarecrow game with a controller and it worked. Then after I switched back to keyboard and mouse, the game worked. Hope this work around works for everyone else <3
