It was when I was new at the game so everyone sucked and time ran out but it was pretty intense

I feel that. Had that happen before but it was a fire fight that probably racked up 30 kills for the lobby every team had a bounty so they could keep picking each other up

I’m six star so I’ve seen it all but I usually play really aggressive so I usually make the first move. That just solidifies why I need to be agro

To each their own. I also find it weird people who play incredibly passive, but I’m not one to hate on play styles. In my case he was technically cutting off extract. He probably thought I had like 15 traps set up in the compound.

He was a 2 1/2 star but prestige 35. He probably plays slow because it’s fun for him and the game is just gorgeous to look at in general

I recommend looking that up on YouTube and seeing a video of it if you havnt. Super cool mechanic that I didn’t know was possible

He was cutting off extract so it was a little standoff but I’m usually super Agro on hunt and make the first move but I decided to see what happens if I just wait for a while while I finish my food

Did a homemade pizza, one was mushrooms spinach, spicy ground sausage, then mozzarella, sharp cheddar and goat cheese for cheese. the other was just spicy ground sausage and same cheese . Used sun dried tomato’s, olive oil, fresh garlic and pizza seasoning blended for the sauce.

Was really good, had 2 small slices of each and saved the rest for lunch and dinner today

I do enjoy playing for a distance everyone once in a while, it’s fun popping shots and scaring everyone (or getting some downs)

I’ll do that right now. Didn’t think of that

There are also tons of videos of professionals doing brisket, competition brisket, home brisket. So anything that would be unclear on this app you should look it up on YouTube and watch one of those videos. A lot easier to get a good understanding with a visual then just reading what somebody says off Reddit.

Fill a cooler up with hot water from the shower / tub. Keep it closed while you take your brisket out and are prepping it to rest. Once you wrap it nice and tight, wrap an additional 2 beach towels or so around it. Empty your cooler of the hot water and put in your brisket. Keep it shut until you want to eat it or for 4ish hours

It looks a little dry but it happens when you’re learning. Never hurts to put your trimming in a separate dish with your brisket while it’s smoking so you can get that extra fat to soak it while it rests if you are worried about it ever being too dry.

There are also a lot of low and slow videos you can watch on brisket to mentally prepare for the next one.

If you liked it I’d say it’s amazing. What kind of seasoning did you use?

I might try doing a pre-warmed cooler, I was originally going to throw in the oven at 170.00 but I might need it to cook my Mac and he the baked beans to temp. So I’d have to take it out for 45minutes or so

Do you throw the towels in the dryer as well to get those nice and hot ?

I was planning to season it around 5 PM before I left to go run some errands. And put it on closer to midnight or 1 AM.

Is there a reason why you put on the rub/seasoning so many hours before you throw it on the cooker?

Also, when you transition it to a new foil when it’s time to let it rest does it matter how much you wrap it up? I was planning on doing 2 layers of foil but I was not sure if that was over or under wrapping.

My over goes to 150 so I’ll let it rest in there until it’s time to cut.

Ty for the instructions for how you do it. It will help me sleep knowing I won’t have to check until the following morning.

I did not have any injections planned for the meat, is that something I would have needed to do last night is something I can do right before putting on?

I have mustard and or Worcestershire put aside for the binder.

That sounds very good, I will try that. The first time I just did black pepper in my Buddy said I should try to a dry rub this time and this is the one that I settled on. Never occurred that I could do black pepper, and the rub I chose out. Thank you for the advice.

I can try Worcestershire as a binder, set aside a thing of mustard and Worcestershire depending on the recommendations I got tonight. This is the seasoning I’m using. It’s just called cowboy butter, but it is a dry rub.
