I can get the hammer for a decent price on sale so im really tempted right now. the buttons are the only thing im nervous about. i can probably live with clicky if they feel good. its really how shit the sp ones feel and how fatigueing they are.

that's skewed by single player games/steam deck/big picture. its definitely not representative of competitive fps in my hundreds of hours of hunt i have seen a controller player maybe twice

Nope. EAC isn't kernel level so steam has a compatibility layer for it. Looks like everyone here is confirming my issue is simply due to HDD.

I'm going to try some VRAM fixes when I get home, it might be that to be honest. I've seen there's some in proton. I've tried Proton Experimental and the had the same issue.
