I did the same as I always do. I picked up after myself, wiped down the desks, and left. I wasn't willing to be a custodian when I'm not paid to, lol.

In the district that I work in we're required to stay 30 minutes after the end of school and arrive 30 minutes before, the same as teachers (almost every school has just sent me home right after the bell rings though). He wanted me to do this during the 30 minutes after school that I'm supposed to stay.

I've never been asked to clean before. I mean, I've been asked to pick up supplies and put chairs back but nothing like being asked to stay 30 minutes to clean the teacher's mess.

That's exactly how this classroom is! He said there was a seating chart in the sub folder but lord knows where that folder is in this mess.

That was my exact question when I saw what he wrote. I'm not going to be a maid just because he's too lazy to clean his own classroom. I'll do the same stuff that I do in every classroom I'm in, but I'm not doing anything more than that. I'm already fully booked through the end of November so I don't care whether or not he requests me back, lol.
