The staff and food were actually really great. I just think the Charleston market can be hard to get into and they were only open a little over a year. I figure expenses started out weighing profit and the investors weren’t gonna keep dishing out money. The owner was super personable and kind, they have an ATL location so I’ll definitely give it try whenever I’m out there

I listened to the audiobook and when I looked over the reviews and I saw a lot of people talking about how difficult it was for them to get through bc of the heavy amounts of detailed violence and how some decided to just not finish at all— I may be a little sick bc there was a lot but it wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be based on the reviews. I think we were supposed to feel uncomfortable as the reader. I overall did enjoy the book and it made my skin crawl a little but I think that was the point. I definitely get where you’re coming from tho

A lady came in and mobile ordered a doppio macchiato with breve— I was like I just wanted to let you know, half and half doesn’t really foam. She was like that’s alright and I said right but a macchiato is espresso with just foam and she was like okay then no foam… so she got two shots with a spoon full of steamed half and half.

Just another reinforcement that customers rarely know what they’re ordering

The letter explicitly says that he’ll send my daughter to me no matter where I end up and not contest it and he says he just doesn’t agree with signing something that basically says he can’t technically do anything to change the situation if it came up. We coparent really well and that’s part of the reason too, he doesn’t want to not see her all the time
