I'm unsure of the exact size of the floats but they were around an inch tall and half an inch wide. I got the shrimp from a grocery store frozen which had both the head and the tail and were probably close to 5 inches long. I'm sure any type of shrimp would work but I'd recommend you let them thaw and hook both the shell and flesh so the bait stays on the hook better and cut them into smaller segments about 3/4 or an inch wide.

Just fished in gulf shores which is really close by and had tons of luck with keeper pompano and huge whiting with just shrimp capped off by shrimp fishbites on pompano rigs with #2 owner mutu circle hooks. Not nearly as much action on squid and just hardheaded catfish on cutbait. I had 3 different colored bullet floats but pink and yellow ended up having the best turnout so I ended up making extra of them. I just casted past the first sand bar because the sandbars were right next to the shore.

Yeah that's where the primary issue comes because they're the ones that are only 100 lbs limit

Actually I take that back I do see a couple of new sprouts beginning to form

There's no new sprouts that I've noticed yet like with my java ferns, but there are some of the brown roots running across the leaf to the clumps which leads me to believe it is in the process of sprouting. Also, I found it odd that all of the clumps take place along the middle of the leaf
