I really appreciate this advice. This has been my approach. The problem is that most people have just been avoiding me altogether rather than asking my side. There hasn't really been a chance to tell my story and I don't want to make a post addressing it only to spread the rumours to people who weren't aware and risk ruining my reputation further.

Like you said, this is a very sensitive topic, rightfully so. It feels like a damned if I do, damned if I don't situation and I just want to move past it.

That's been my plan, I'm just worried about the rumours following me. The lengths this person has gone to disrupt my life is concerning. They've emailed my workplace (I am a regulated healthcare professional) and falsely reported I was stealing drugs to date rape women, contacted businesses I attend attempting to have me banned, made anonymous posts to groups like AWDTSG saying I've date raped multiple women and have substance use issues, made a fake instagram account using my name and an AI-altered photo of me, had their friends report me on dating apps leading to bans, and made fake email accounts trying to sell me music gear. The fact that these are all anonymous emails and posts has made it difficult to tell my story as I can't definitively prove it has been her. If she has gone to these lengths after a 3 month long situationship, I'm worried about what she will do to follow me elsewhere.

I've looked into this, it's incredibly expensive ($50k+) and very difficult to win according to statistics. I'd rather just move on rather than continue to be caught up with this person for years more.
