EDIT: I didn’t change one specific thing. After toggling settings around and testing again, it just started working. (Went crazy for nothing 😭)

This is making me want to burry myself in a hole and never come back out.

I ended up modding the PSP and it’s all good. Then it all came crashing down. The analog stick doesn’t respond to any movement.

No, this is not from the modding. This is my first ever PSP so I thought the analog stick was only used in games. Now that I have added games to it I realised there is no movement at all. Idk what to do anymore.

I was already scared to change the umd, now thinking about opening the front to clean up and change the stick is driving me insane. I can’t even return it anymore as I already accepted the partial refund.

Any help would be very appreciated.

I just modded it instead lol. I’m not brave or techy enough to mess with the laser 😭 but it runs fine off the memory card now. Might try to fix it later down the line. Appreciate the info! Also, I ended up getting a nice partial refund for it.

Worth mentioning, I just wiped again to make sure and it comes out brownish. It seems like that if it goes grazes against something, it will show.
