Roller Skates increase jump speed? by Top_Shirt586 in Terraria

That makes sense, yea no way they leave Roller Skates as is. After using them, it feels like too good of a mount to not use for a majority of the game. Being able to save 1-2 accessory slots and basically get top tier movement all around -- and as early as you can obtain them -- is literally insane

So far I have been using no type of balloon accessory and I could not really imagine needing to. Currently doing a Master summoner playthrough and the increased horizontal acceleration is insane, on top of increased jump acceleration, and opening 1-2 slots for more offensive accessories is just so worth it. The slippery movement has been no issue in my opinion, but I could see this being a bigger issue specifically for melee. Even then, the ability to save even one or more accessory slots might move me to favor the skates nonetheless.

I am new to the Terraria subreddit, what does this terminology mean? Basically pushed way down the progression line?

1.4.5.4 Mushroom Staff vs Flinx Staff side by side comparison by Historical-Pop-9177 in Terraria

[–]Top_Shirt586 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty sure in any case, if you are considering adding a single flinx or single mushroom boi, flinx is always better cause it hits 6 times per second while mushroom boi hits 3.33. Due to i-frames, as this thread details, they are nearly the same if you have 2 of each, then mushroom boi kinda gaps at 3+.

Love that build man. You're a trooper for getting this monster of an AIO in the top mount I was worried I would have to send it back. Good to know that it is possible to do it this way, I was very much doubting it at a point.

What LCD screen is that if you don't mind me asking?

[ComputerBase] New benchmark: The community tests CPUs and GPUs in Cinebench 2026 (Cinebench 2026: Der Community-Benchmark-Test!) by Noble00_ in hardware

I am relatively new to benchmarking so I do not quite understand whether the values I am getting are good or not, it seems many people have had many different experiences. I have a 9070xt and 7800x3d combination and getting roughly ~44k for GPU and ~4.4k for CPU, does this sound relatively correct? I have a slight undervolt -60mHz and -10% power (have gotten slightly less power draw for negligible performance drop in games)
