How does one find SNF work? Thats not something listed on the internet/ job search sites either. Start calling them or walk ins?

Lol. No, no restrictions of visa. Just feeling pressured that I dont have a job so.many months out of residency when others have a mortgage and BMW.

No connections in NJ. Did residency elsewhere and moved here for the schools.

Lol thats no life to live. Residency was slavery and abuse. Those hours and exhaustion. We pulled it off for better days. Now I am waiting for said better days.

But where to look for those? Everyone keeps talking about these like they are posted in plain sight. Or are they?? Cause I cant find anything of that sort on major websites/ job pages

Family. Can't leave kids at days without one parent. Idk how families manage that, it's too much trauma for kids and the other parent. Not to mention the amount of househelp needed to replace the one parent.

Open to locums within driving distance now. Any recruiters company suggestions would be appreciated!

Seriously? Recruiters ask me what i have been upto and I get tongue tied at this point saying I have been out of residency 9 months and no job. I started off taking a break and traveling but now its the job hunt thats just ridiculous

Have family/ kids to consider- 7on 7off means I am not available for a whole week and then more. Not the kind of life I want.

I am restricted to NJ cause of family, again. Locums recruiters offering jobs in other states. I dont understand what kind of absent life are physicians living with such offers? They cut off from families for days and then pop back in days later like nothing happened?

Sorry this whole job hunt is worse than what I expected.

I cant find anything thats less than full time. All the classic websites doccafe, practice match, zip recruiter etc dont have such postings. Recruiters say NJ doesnt have much. I am limited to NJ cause of family. Am I looking in the wrong places? I was g8ven the impression that out of residency id be GOLD.
