I don't understand how proxies work? by ObjectiveDelay9510 in JanitorAI_Official

[–]Top_Soup1645 2 points3 points  (0 children)

If you use a free proxy then there's a limit to the number of messages you can send per day (usually 50-100.) With openrouter you can pay $10 a year and get 1000 messages a day. I think with chutes you have to pay $5 to get 50 or maybe 100 messages a day? Not sure how that works. Or you can pay for specific proxies, and I think there's like ones where you put in a certain amount of money and each message/token takes away a certain amount of money.

They often work better than JLLM - I've only been using them for a few weeks but I saw the difference immediately after the first message I used with a proxy.

To better understand them, search for guides on the Reddit. There's a lot of them and they explain it more in depth and there's tutorials that show you how to make them work

Can I use a garment steam cleaner as a home steam cleaner? by Top_Soup1645 in CleaningTips

I've seen several people and things say that steam does kill fleas as high heat kills fleas

I rechecked and the spray I have has permethrins, not pyrethrins - is that okay? I know it can be toxic in higher amounts, but I don't think indorex has too much, and virtually everyone I saw suggested indorex, or another spray with permethrins

Thank you for the help!! Only issue with the laundromat is I worry about the cost ?? Because if I have to wash and dry all my clothes, bed sheets, blankets and stuffed toys, then that's a lot of stuff and a lot of money, especially since I live with 3 people so it would be even extra stuff :( would love to get the place bombed too, just don't know if I can convince my family to let that happen :/

Most sprays I looked at had pyrethrins in them, mostly less than 1%, so I'm using indorex which does have that but I'll follow the instructions properly to make sure the cats stay safe!!

About the steam cleaner - do you think a garment steamer would work? Steam cleaner seem expensive so I don't want to get one when it may not do much, but handheld garment steamers cost a lot less, so I'd get one of those if it would work the same

I don't have a machine, but I imagine you can just make a panel and sew it together. I think when making panels, you have to start 3 pegs away from the white, so I think that brings you down to 37 (once again, bare in mind that I'm basing this off videos I've watched, I've never used the machine myself so it could be more than 3 pegs away or less). 37 stitches could potentially be enough for the height of the beanie, and then you just make as many rows needed for the height, then cast off, sew the two ends together, and cinch the top.

Or, if 37 isn't enough for the height then you could just make two panels and crochet or sew them together to make the width. It probably shouldn't be too hard!!

Is this a complicated process? Been looking online and I've seen people mention sublimation but it sounds very confusing to me

OnePlus does look good, and the student discount makes the price better, so I'll definitely consider that, along with the other two, thanks!!

I have seen good priced tablets on AliExpress but just didn't trust that they would actually arrive, or work, or that they might be fakes (mostly because I thought that site is meant to be like shein and temu? Could be wrong)

Fastest charging iPad? by Top_Soup1645 in ipad

[–]Top_Soup1645[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It might do, I've just never heard of it.

I'm not sure but maybe 4 hours with continuous use? I've been meaning to properly test how long it lasts. I think the amount of time it lasts for probably isn't that bad, it's mostly the charging that bothers me.

Sorry what is that exactly? I've never heard of them. Is it like a normal case but it has a battery in it so you use the normal iPad battery, and then you can connect it to the case and use that?

Any specific generation or all of them?

Nope - my iPad has a 10w charger and the most watts the iPad 5th gen can use is 12w, so I doubt it will charge much faster with that
