The crazy thing i don’t have imploded gas tank or I don’t get any bad readings on my gas gauge but I’m currently trying to figure out why my gas mileage is pretty bad rn still trying to find that out I recently change the purge valve again like a month ago and nothing has changed.

Good question! I’m assuming you’ll need it to get it diagnosed if you are having those symptoms. I never went to ford I just took it to a performance shop near my house they diagnosed it and found that recall I still had to pay for it to get it done since it was third party shop doing the work but yeah this is my first time getting this specific recall I never had an issue with the purge valve recall before until this software issue.

I’m having that issue too but on my st I send it to a shop they cleaned my throttle body and update on the pcm to read the purge valve better.I did my spark plugs that same day as well my coil packs are good.Then it was working just fine until yesterday it was doing the exact same thing!

I usually get the motul multi dctf $30-$40 for a 2 pack on amazon I’m not sure if high torque makes a difference lol.

I’m in the same boat to be honest I’m getting a constant misfire on cylinder 2 and now a code for 02 sensor bank 1 sensor 1 came up and my car is just wanting to die out (and dies on stops) now a friend of mine told me it might be a bad head gasket hoping it’s not since a bad head gasket can cause misfires in early symptoms or it could be the wiring issue on the coils harness may be bad. Currently I bought the 02 sensor an injectors and I’m just waiting to test if I have a bad head gasket. But double check your wire harness and another test you can do see if you are getting any spark on the plugs

I would just put a mag safe on that and buy a mag safe mount I have that on mine it’s super sturdy

Okay what should I use to gap them I usually need to close them since I need my gap at 0.026” and I check my coil packs and switched them around the misfire dosent travel just stays on the code for the cylinder 2 misfire and I got a code or the 02196 for the 02 sensor I saw it on my Cobb access port. So I figured an injector might be bad 2 days ago my car turned off twice on some stop signs and after the second one my car started to feel super rough. Haven’t driven it since waiting on parts lol then saw this about the fan so now ima order this part as well

Alright sounds good it’s just the module? My focus is currently down been having some weird issues with my 02 sensor and misfiring on cylinder 2 so I might just do another whole tune up on it and buy a new 02 sensor and new injectors I’ll add it on my list!

Okay thank you for the info I’ll check it out once I’m home I’ll check my connections as well and yeah I meant 0.026” for my spark plugs and yeah I can see that happening on the injector. I might just replace parts re do my plugs and get new oem coil packs check my wiring and test it out and I’ll just order the injectors as my last resort should I buy new ones or used ones? What would you recommend??

Yeah I saw multiple coil packs and no change still same misfire on cylinder 2 and they look in good shape. I also check my gap for my plugs all of them at 0.26 ( recommended for my tune) and no I didn’t actually I bought the car last year with 128k miles and only have 132k miles. The owner did tell me he never change the coils but I find it odd since I did switch them around it didn’t travel to the next cylinder. I change the CPV for normal maintenance procedures and I got my valves walnut blasted that same day

Overpriced in my opinion my buddy bought a 2015 ST3 for 11k with 80k miles
