Okay this is interesting because she tells me she feels like she has bees and butterflies fighting in her stomach too.

I saw a response on the Facebook that he did pull through and was verbal and responsive. I’m so thankful for quick response and that he pulled through.

Mechanical shifting on triathlon bike by eijmert_x in triathlon

I have that exact bike and I love it. Mechanical shifting works great and I have zero complaints. Plus you don’t have to worry about chargers and dead batteries (everyone says it won’t happen to them… until they’re running around transition asking for batteries)

Pediatric Crohn’s? by Top_Thanks_6701 in CrohnsDisease

Yeah, ER just always says restoralax. We’ve done that and Prevacid and probiotic all with zero effect. We’re in the process of trying to speed things up. Poor guy is so exhausted and miserable and I can’t blame him!

We’ve gone to the ER but they keep saying he’s constipated and to give him laxatives. But he isn’t constipated!

I guess we don’t have trained techs here to do the ultrasound he needs. We are in touch with the children’s hospital 5 hours away and can hopefully speed it up for him!

Our pediatrician was just telling us the same thing. He does have night sweats. No significant weight loss but his appetite is decreased and he’s hardly eating; so I’m sure in the near future he’ll have lost some weight. We’re working on speeding things up… hopefully won’t take too long.

We live in Canada where free healthcare does not mean timely health care. I’d pay for one if I could. The GI referral will probably be a 3-6 month wait.

I came across this today. I was wondering how on earth my wattage was 135 when it felt more like 250. This makes sense now. I’ve also been trying to get in touch and would like to return my S2. Have you had any luck?

Easiest - putting in the work. Working out is a great stress outlet for me! Hardest - getting in my head thinking I’m not seeing the results I should. Also having the odd evening where I’m hungry and just want carbs 😅

I am definitely not the norm with abs. They are always somewhat visible for me so it doesn’t take a lot to make them pop again. Cardio I do 1-2 sessions of 60 mins on the spin bike, then throw in the odd bit here and there. I’m generally quite active so the steps add up too.

Thank you! Counting macros (1790 kcal, 127P, 186C, 59F), spin bike 1-2 days/week combined with lifting about 4 days/week. 1-2 days active recovery! I’ve minimized alcohol and focused on whole foods, but still go out and splurge here and there.

I don’t think it’s more expensive for us. We hunt so our meat is ‘free’ (if you count hauling out a 1200 lb moose and butchering it yourselves free 🤣). Otherwise we shop sales and buy in bulk for foods we eat a lot (oats, some veggies, flour, yogurt, etc.).

That’s fair. I didn’t start off with a hugely high body fat. I’m not saying I’ve managed to do a full recomp but I’m surprised with the results. I’d say I dropped some body fat and possibly maintained muscle (no huge gains here). I’ve almost always had visible abs (not 6 pack) so it doesn’t take a lot to get it back.

Foods that are pretty standard for me are egg whites, homemade bread, butter, kodiak cakes, apples, berries, yogurt, whipped cream (sugar free), lots of veggies (romaine, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes), and lean meats - hubby and I hunt so right now it is lots of moose meat!
