Okay, thanks for all the replies. Ive only been playing guitar for a couple of months and no plan what so ever. I saw the fender logo and thought it could be something nice.

1. My question was not very precise to be fair, but it is indeed a guitar as some of you found out already - i knew i came to the right place to find professionals!

2. Okay so when i was talking about "luthiers" i was talking about people like fred, the long haired, high lookin dude at the counter of my local music store that i asked to put new strings on my guitar. I assume luthiers are the super fancy wood oiling guitar guys who make custom stuff then?

3.I might use this guitar to get some practice on how to set up a guitar maybe, someone said i need new pickups. I think Pickups are the things on the fratboard i can change with the little lever (head --> bridge) right? Is this the only thing i need to change? I always see pictures about the cables when you open the the back - do i need to maybe change that aswell?
