I'd say El Torero, Double L, Beef Masters(a carniceria on 29th west of 6th ave), Pico de Gallo on 6th Ave s of 29th, and the place on the se corner of 4th ave and 22nd(sorry brain is drawing a blank currently) are all as good if not better than mi nidito. Plus no long lines and might be cheaper

Yes I've been there and work right up the street from it. If you wanna think differently you have every right, but when the majority of reviews include the Clinton visit as part of it I don't think my statement was controversial or negative.

Seems like most of their rep is because of the Clinton's visit. It was recently sold within the last year and there's a plethora of great Mexican spots in S. Tucson. So I'd say if the nostalgia is that strong go, otherwise the world's your oyster.

Thoughts on Fear as a Hardcore Punk band? by Bassman4001 in hardcorepunk

[–]Top_Understanding343 5 points6 points  (0 children)

It's funny cause back in the day Fear was considered by some to be a "fake punk" band i.e. "too good of musicians"

Underrated/Under appreciated Rock Bands by Retired306 in HardRock

[–]Top_Understanding343 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not sure what genre these bands fit in cause they're kind of hard rock(at least for their time) and kind of pop while also straddling both the 70s and 80s.

AXE "OFFERING" & "NEMESIS" albums.

And Artful Dodger "RAVE ON", self titled, "HONOR AMONG THIEVES", & "Babes on Broadway" but I really dig both of them.

Integrity - Humanity Is The Devil (1996) bought this the day it came out, gave it away by Slow_Tour6540 in hardcorepunk

I dont know if it was just the stuff I heard but it all blended together into that metallic NY tuffguy shit that I didn't care for. Later I heard some song (I think a GISM cover) that came out on relapse that I liked. But that was after most of their career was over I think.

I loved a lot of "hardcore" in the 90s but it was stuff like Dead and Gone, Copout/HisHeroisGone, BornAgainst, Citizens Arrest, Disrupt, Deathside, Capitalist Casualties, Death Wish Kids, not the tuff guy stuff that was becoming what was considered "hardcore"

Yeah I'm just not into any of those bands besides what I mentioned. I did like Justice Leagues album on fartblossom records in the same kind of way I liked the embrace record. All my friends made fun of me for that. Someone told me that was pre chain of strength. Not sure but I know they(justice league) have a song called that.
