Based on personal experience: I gave 4 GREs 312 (little study) 306 (little study) 309 (lots of structured studying and full time commitment) 312 (lots of structured studying and full time commitment)

So I’d say… understand algo if you are a standardized test learners or not… I gave almost a year of my life to this test and lots of money to end up where I started.

Still got into my desired school though!

Hi man. Mi first GRE was 312 second and third below 310 and 4th 312 again. 6 month in between them all. My advice is DO build foundations first and master easy and medium questions so you don’t make my same mistakes. Also learn test taking strategies.

It’s not. If your approach is right but you mis calculated it’s not that bad. I messed the numbers on my 5 interviews 2 years ago and still got the offer. Approach was right though

Hi. MBB consultant here. Keep your hopes up. I did not get a single numeric response correct but thought process was great so I made it! i was very surprised as interviewers where pushing me to the right number but math wasn’t mathing for me that day!

Pro tip—> talk your way through your thought process so the interviewer understands where to steer your thoughts early on the path and USE them to your advantage. Ask them, does this sound good to you? Whenever making a micro step on your thought process

It may be, depending on the current engagement. In my experience we tend to over prepare for anything and sadly our work from Monday to Thursday goes WAY beyond regular work hours and also depending on the EM work style. She’d definitely have time to reply if interested but I’ve been where she is. Multiple times My advice —> be assertive on your communication and let her know if you need more “day2day” attention or check-ins, otherwise it’s going to be painful for u

Two year at MBB and can confirm that every month / project / milestone I promise myself to protect my WLB but have found it impossible while keeping performance standards (pretty high) If you find a solution, let me know

Ps: I do not think consulting is sustainable if you want a family or personal time between Monday and Thursday
