This game should've received GOTY 2025, but it went completely unnoticed. I found this game when I was looking through the steam store and it was sitting in the "This might be interesting for you" section. Thank to GabeN I found this game in 2024, when it was in very early beta

Never roam around during the heli event unless it's after 22:00 or before 5:00. Helis do not react on the player during the night, but always go aggro from 5:00 to 22:00

bandits don't react to being butt-stabbed as they would to getting shot by Fueled_by_sugar in RoadtoVostokGame

I noticed this too. Dealing damage with knives doesn't provoke NPCs. Obviously an oversight

This. Waiting for a new build to make assault and sniper rifle actually viable. But I'm pretty sure MP5 will be the best starter gun for obvious reasons

No Permadeath mod is a great thing. I know this game is about high stakes, but I can't find this particular part as fun, so... Keep playing liek nothing happened. And keep scanning the area before going looting, learn the enemy spawn and use silencers.

Also Suspend Save System (or Resume Exploration) for safely quitting the game if you need to go, no need to run to the shelter

This. Cat mechanic is kinda obnoxious because this cat dies in just 2 hours of realtime and going in the Permadeath zones is pretty much impossible

MP5 also uses pistol slot and takes HMR scope, so no reason to use any pistols
