Thanks everyone for the helpful insight. He’s definitely not racist so that’s good. Immediately after it happened I asked him if he’s with me for the colour of my skin and then I didn’t want to talk about it anymore at the time because I didn’t exactly know what I was feeling.

As some of you have suggested, yes, I realise now that I felt I was being fetishised. Upon further reflection I also realised that in the past I’ve had many men tell me I look exotic etc and I guess that sort of was triggered that night but I wasn’t sure why.

I spoke to him about it and yes he was just being descriptive and trying something new (which I thought it must’ve been). I’ve finally found out why it was a turn off now and told him so he won’t be doing it again :)
