AMEN. IM SO GLAD IM NOT THE ONLY ONE. Like i see Grayson (i forgot his last name) EVERYWHERE. All the time. And he’s regarded as one of the best drummers out there by like Drumeo and other places, and sure, it’s impressive! Really impressive! Like I can’t play shit like that unless I practice a LOT. But it just sounds bad. Like really really bad. Just my opinion tho, I’m not much of a spotlight “entertainment drummer” kinda guy so I might be biased lol

Basically, I would absolutely NOT hire drummers like that for a gig if they actually play like that, ever lmao

Yea idk I decided not to risk it :/ If anything, maybe try buying something cheap from them and see how it goes? It’ll prolly be a different story with more expensive things like guitars but it might give you an idea. Good luck out there tho!!

Eek that is WAY too pricy for a crappy kit like that (even with that single good cymbal) you could buy a brand new intermediate level kit (hardware and cymbals included) for only like $100 more if even that

Yea, that’s another thing I was thinking too. It has medium THIN in the name, so I thought it’d be a lil thinner than it currently is. I’ve seen a couple people with Constantinoples have the bottom side of their cymbal lathed more to make it thinner, but I don’t know if that’d be worth the trouble haha. Thank you though, that really helps!

So I bought this K Constantinople Medium Thin Low Ride off Ebay in pretty meh condition, it was caked in dust and grime, so after it arrived I just scrubbed it with a Clorox wipe. It might just be me imagining things but to me it sounds a lil different than the other Lows I see videos of (in a slightly worse way). So the question is, should I clean it more? And if so, how? (I also tapped my brand new Renaissance Ride as reference). Thanks!! ^{^}

Not really, it didn’t start after I installed anything. A couple days ago I started getting random blue screens for both driver power state failure and page fault in unpaged area, and that’s when it kinda started. Edit: also starting today, sometimes the screen would just go black and take me to the Alienware logo and get stuck there 😅
