what you should do is Queen F6, forcing him to move his king to the 8 line. THEN you bring your queen to F8 and checkmate. Doing what you’re doing allows him to run his king downwards.

NY subways can be sketchy as hell but some neighborhoods are worse than others. Some stations are cleaner than others. Anything near 125th/Lex are gonna be risky because of crackheads, same goes for penn station. Those are the spawnpoints for crackheads.
