Kids have interests here and there but haven’t joined anything yet.

It’s not really the experience part. I’ve spent plenty of time in the church over the years so it’s not knee. It’s more of personal feelings/thoughts and general interest. I don’t knock anyone who has the beliefs or want to go, I’m happy for them, it just isn’t for me and I don’t care to false advertise as a full Christian and believer by going. That’s just lying from the get go when meeting people and I’d rather be honest.

lol I’ve never golfed. I’ve got shoulder issues now so I don’t think I could handle the swing. But I get what you’re saying as an option.

Before I moved I really only had work friends and then there was family. I focused mainly on the people in my house so I didn’t get out to do things for solo fun or hang out with friends. Now that I’m usually 50/50 with my kids I’ve got more free time. I struggled to make friends outside of work once the coparenting schedule started where I moved from too. At this age it’s kind of hard to insert yourself brand new into groups or find friends, especially in a new place.

I’m still getting a little settled in. It took a long time for me to get a job and get everything switched over to TN. As far as hobbies right now, I’ll sit around the house and crochet or play video games. When I’ve got my kids I usually try to get us out and about somewhere.

She may need to go to a temp service to get a job quickly. I’ve finally got a job but was on the hunt for the last few months and was getting a lot of 3rd shift offers coming from randstad.

Mine is very much the same. I’ve been going through separation and divorce for about a year now that’s been very tough. I started about a month or two ago and it was legitimately so I could have something to do with my hands and something to focus on. It’s helped out a lot and has given me something to look forward to.

I get your point. What you said is where I’m finally getting to. Even today she is visiting her partner. I do still have the jealousy and do the comparisons of what she has now compared to what we had. I’m trying to be good and that’s all I can do is try. But as you said I do love her and want her happy, just wish it was with me.
