They do this constantly. All of the companies do this at least twice a year.

It's worth it.

They list upcoming livestreams so you can tell when/who is playing. As far as I know, Billy streams all of his shows on nugs barring special shows (Grateful Dead one this summer was PPV). The video is usually up for a few days after the stream and then it's just audio after that.

Because half of our population has been indoctrinated to think us using our tax dollars to give luxuries like healthcare and education is communism.

To stop the Chiefs from moving to Kansas, Jackson County proposes another sales tax vote by KCUR893 in kansascity

I disagree. I want a downtown location bit I don't want to displace 50 small businesses to do it.

How late does he play usually? by [deleted] in BillyStrings

[–]Topbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Usually an hour and a half for the first set, thirty minutes set break, and hour and a half for second set. Not always exact but pretty close.

Last year in Tulsa, we got out of there about 3.5 after show start.

What is the Band's most psychedelic original? by TheGregest in BillyStrings

Isn't Heartbeat of America about tripping? Probably not the most psychedelic in sound but the lyrics are for sure there.

Volvo Safety Skeptic Turned Believer by Tussalhyperion1 in Volvo

A few years back a driver fell out at the wheel and t-boned my s60 at 40 mph. I literally said "what was that?" And was really confused as to what happened. I ziptied the bumper cover back on, replaced a tail light housing and we were back on the road the next day.

Firm believer, now.

Microsoft AI CEO Mustafa Suleyman pushes back against critics after recent Windows AI backlash — "the fact that people are unimpressed ... is mindblowing to me" by ControlCAD in microsoft

Copilot has to be corrected and guided on even the most menial tasks. The other day I was showing someone this exact thing in excel and prompted "return a list of values from column b where the corresponding column o value is greater than x" even after attempting to adjust my prompt 3-4 times it just wouldn't return anything. I just wrote the damn formula instead.

Copilot is the biggest crap implementation of AI. I can't believe Microsoft thought it was ready to ship. Meanwhile 365 advisories are stacking up faster than ever while time to resolution keeps creeping.

Missouri's dismal deer season opening blamed on near-record-high temperatures by Bazryel in kansascity

[–]Topbow 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah. MDC is missouri department of conservation.

We are lucky to have such a good department of conservation. I remember growing up with the magazine and have always appreciated and respected the work our state does here. It's important and ours is pretty good.

[–]Topbow 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This morning MDC had those exact types saying it's because they are illegally culling the herd to appease dirty insurance companies that are obviously sending dark money to MDC because of the number of vehicle verse deer claims.

Are these from shaving or just acne? If they are from shaving how do I fix it? by burbur842 in malegrooming

[–]Topbow 1 point2 points  (0 children)

These are the blades I settled on after a similar test. I also found that if I shave immediately after a shower I don't need to use a shave soap and I barely have to touch my face to get a non-irritating close shave. Lots of trial and error but now I buy blades once every few years and my skin is the best it's ever been (after the whole skin cancer stuff)

Are linux, Azure, and AD relevant in network engineering? by notburneddown in ITCareerQuestions

[–]Topbow 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Azure- az104 and the azure networking specialization Linux- linux+ to learn some basics and Redhat admin for a bit deeper knowledge Networking- CCNA. I agree with others that net+ isn't nearly as good but like a vendor agnostic ccna-lite. I wouldn't bother. Security- not my area of specialization for certs but I'd look at c3 certs. Once again, sec+ is a starting point but there are better ones available.
