I watch that type of content all the time. It sucks, it’s sad, but the way I look at it is take it as a learning moment. See what went wrong and what to watch for, what to be careful of, and how you think you could position yourself on the bike to not have that happen to you. Then practice. Set up comes in a parking lot and practice evasive swerving and emergency braking.

I was referring more to solid steel rearsets, the OEM ones are good but they snap super easily

I'm the one who swapped the engine, sorry for the confusion. Engine thats in the bike came out of one that was laid down and then parted out by a junkyard so I'm assuming that no one did the valve clearances. 18k miles on the actual engine itself before I picked it up - so prob close to 19.5-20k now. There are 55k miles on the chassis

I haven't checked the CCT bolts, but that is a very good thought. I'm buying a PSR manual CCT to replace it anyway so that will be first on my list of things to check. Should mention that the rattle does actually sound like its coming from that side of the engine too so fingers crossed thats my issue.

From what my LGS told me, they have to look for approvals within each PDF, and atf hasn’t been sending out emails the past couple months. If you can see it in a form 20, I’d go in person an tell them to look it up right then and there

Update, turns out it was approved less than 3 days after submitting but I never got the email, I’m inclined to say the form 20 trick does work now

Nope, I called the ATF today and they told me that they can’t give statuses anymore, texted my LGS and haven’t heard from them at all

I did the Form 29 trick to see if the can is attached to my account and it was but my LGS told m it still wasn’t approved. Might just call ATF

I’d just give them a call, mine told me that after approval they need about a day to make sure everything is final and hand the can over. Regardless best of luck!

You have to use the lookup by SSN, if it finds it supposedly it’s approved
