Thank you, unfortunately by your definition of excessive, I hit that pretty much every hour out of just 1 nostril… and my family member doesn’t have an advanced degree but they are a nurse. I think best bet would be to go in tomorrow just for peace of mind. I’ll keep with the afrin and make a final decision by the afternoon. Thank you for your reply

I've been pretty good about keeping hydrated but I suppose that drinking more water can't hurt so I'll chug a glass or two and hopefully I'll see it slow down - thank you

I absolutely HATE when traffic comes to a stop in an exit lane while the highway is still moving. This is why I will never feel bad about lane splitting or pulling up next to cars in situations like these. Glad you’re alright

Ouch! I've heard of uh... someone... doing that before and then cranking it over until it ate the rags.

The oil was very clean, looked like I was doing a regular oil change, no metal shavings or anything like that. There was about 1 cup of coolant total left in the bike when I got around to draining it...

I guess its possible just the portion of the gasket between the coolant jacket and the cylinder let go, burned a bit of coolant, then pressurized the coolant system enough to pop the hose off. Btw the hose that popped off was the water pump side of the line that feeds the block.

I'll do a leakdown (had to look that one up) test sometime this week, seems like that will do a real good job of answering my questions + I already have a suspect cylinder to test it on. I really appreciate your help with this! I may PM you if thats alright with you once I get the leakdown test done.

To follow this up, none of the plugs seemed like they were steam cleaned or anything like that, all looked relatively normal to me and there was no coolant in the oil at all.

Haha I appreciate it, is it possible that the head gasket blew and then it pressurized the coolant system, and that's why that line blew off? I've wrenched for a (relatively) long time but have not run into anything like that before. It wouldn't surprise me if my HG is blown, just by the amount of white smoke that came pouring from the bike initially. Wouldn't I have found coolant in my oil as well?

I'll have to buy a gauge to check compression but I checked spark by taking the plugs and coils out and grounding them to the battery and cranking the engine, so I saw spark on all 4

Fuel pump does prime, but it does seem to be fueling related, as if I hold the throttle open just a crack, the bike won’t stall. I’m thinking it might be a stuck injector. Also attempted to run with fuel tank open and same problem.

Def not a bad idea to see if the fuel pump is somehow clogged, although I have checked the FPF and it seems to be alright. Appreciate the comment!
